In 1955, Ingrid applies for a job at Machadode Assis Bookstore and meets Silvia, a beautiful woman who is intown for a while. Their first intellectual affection becomesemotional. A story of a meeting between two women, carefullyaesthetic influenced by Edward Hopper and Tamara de Lempickapaintings.

Páginas de Menina is Monica's first film as director and writer.Her background experience as production designer brings her theconnection between cinema and painting.
