剧情简介

作为一个事业蒸蒸日上的基金经理人，凯特·瑞迪（莎拉·杰西卡·帕克饰）虽然年过中年，但她的生活乍看上去挺让人羡慕，不仅两个小孩听话懂事，丈夫更是温柔体贴，家庭和睦。其实内中的烦心事只有她自己清楚，由于工作繁忙，她无暇照看小孩，请来的小保姆常常懈怠两个小孩；自己太过强势，丈夫理察·瑞迪（格雷戈·金尼尔饰）每天忍气吞声，和自己渐行渐远；公司里更是隔三岔五的便有男人大献殷勤……在这之外，并没打算要出轨的凯特，则将一个网上的聊天对象作为了自己生活的发泄口。周旋在这堆破事之间，凯特微妙的维持着生活方方面面的平衡，但这种平衡，某天终于被突如其来的意外给打破了……
