Hollywood Undead
在2010年早期，Hollywood Undead乐队的主唱，Deuce因为与队员分歧离开了乐队(据传曾用枪指着队员)。在此之前人们就发现Deuce没有参加Vatos Locos的巡演。在巡演结束后的几个星期，乐队找到了他们的老朋友，Daniel Murillo 来代替 Deuce 的位置。在这不久前，Daneil Murillo 刚通过了美国偶像第九期的面试。Murillo决定退出比赛来加入Hollywood Undead。Daniel Murillo 曾是Lorene Drive 的主唱，但他在那个乐队的活动因为加入Hollywood Undead而暂停。在1月中旬，乐队正式声明 Daniel Murillo 为乐队的一员，以"Danny"的名字示众。
Nine Lives
Deuce离队后，组建了NineLives(以下简称9Lives)，离队的同时他带走了Hollywood Undead的一位鼓手，同样加入了9Lives。

Deuce带领着9Lives，多次写歌攻击他的原乐队，Hollywood Undead，而Deuce在前期曾有一首The One，当时此歌仅仅是表达自己离队的悲伤、不满，到后来演变成了直接攻击，比如说When We Rise的某个版本中有一句"Fuck HU"，乐队的代表歌之一America，明显影射Hollywood Undead的Sell Your Soul 中对美国的看法。

Hollywood Undead有一种"我们不跟他一般见识"的心态，多次对Deuce的攻击视而不见，然而当他们到达了忍耐极限，则录製了Lights Out作为回击，歌曲裏新主唱Danny的副歌部分直接抨击Deuce离队了就别在外面唧唧歪歪，更有霸气的"Who the fuck are you now?"
